Hi, Staci, thanks for giving the recipe a try. Sounds like you chose some yummy mix-ins!! These are best under baked so they finish setting as they cool. Take them out when the edges are light golden brown and the top JUST looks done (no longer glossy). Baking times will vary depending on your pan and your oven. Thank you!

I’ve made these twice and added chocolate chips, PB chips, nuts, chopped caramel and crushed pretzels and they were amazing! This time I cooked them for 28 minutes which seemed a bit too long, I panicked, but they’re still VERY fudgy. I almost thought underdone?

No you can leave them plain and they’ll work just fine!

Question: if I don’t add additional ingredients ie, nuts, Chocolate chips, m&m’s, etc. will it change the amount of dough ingredients by not adding 2 cups of additional ingredients? In other words, will the ingredients alone be enough to make the blonde brownies? Thinks in advance!

Very easy for beginners like me. First attempt was a success and my family loved it! Will make more of this as a christmas gift to my loved ones.
