These cookies are amazing!! The best I’ve ever tasted. They are so fluffy and melt in your mouth. Reminds me of every Christmas at my Nonnie’s house…thank you so much!!!

Made three batches of snow ball cookies and they were delicious. Reduced the add ins, mini chocolate chips, finely chopped walnuts, and heath bar chips to 3/4 cup. Used a one inch cookie scoop 3 dozen per batch. Delicious! Cooled in freezer half hour after rolling into balls.

These are delicious! I made these last year and returned for the recipe again. I wondered why they didn’t make very many so this time I weighed the ingredients. To check the size of my cookie scoop I measured water by tablespoons into it and found it to be a 2 tablespoon scoop. I cut them in half and got 45 perfect cookies!

Merry Christmas! This is a great recipe. I’ve been successfully using this same recipe for over 30 years, but this year I’ve had an epic fail that I’m hoping you can help with. My measurements were accurate by weight. I tried lowering the oven temp with no real improvement. I added more flour to the remaining dough, refrigerated it for over an hour and tried again. This resulted in humps of cookie surrounded by the delicate, thin edge all around. None of my efforts resulted in the round tea cake cookie shape. Could the quality of the butter have caused these problems? I used generic grocery store butter. Maybe I should check the accuracy of my oven temperature. By the way, every :failed” pan of cookies tasted great even if it turned to cookie dust!

Are you using a hand or a stand mixer? Just keep mixing it will form a cookie dough, unless you added too much flour or powdered sugar.

What size did you make them? I always get at least 3 dozen, sometimes more.

Does not yeild 40+ cookies as stated in the recipe unless you want them to be the size of m&ms. It makes 27 cookies at best.
