I’ve made them with 3 and 4 tablespoons. Make sure to press them a little flat before they go in the oven (otherwise they’ll be done on the outside and raw in the middle). Bake time will be about 15-20 min – but know they will still be a little underdone in the middle when you take them out. They’ll set as they cool – you can’t bake them fully in the oven or they’ll get too dark on the outside.

Hi! Love this recipe and need to know if I double the size of each cookie, to make jumbo cookies, what do you recommend for tablespoons of dough and how long to cook…thank you!

I do not recommend using margarine or it will affect taste and texture. That said, if you are going to substitute it will work best if you use a stick margarine that has over 80% fat content (but texture and taste will still be different).

I have just subscribed to your recipe email list. I like to print out the recipes I use – it’s hard for me to see on the phone. It would be great if you had a “print” option that just includes ingredients and instructions. I’m looking forward to making the cookie recipe.
